Well, I finally am OUT OF THE BOOT!!!  I have walked my normal amount for work, at almost my normal pace (sorry, doc - it's NOT slow)...for the last two days.  Boy, am I sore - but happy :)

I am planning on just doing 'normal' for the week then will work in morning work outs starting March 1st.  Hopefully, increasing my exercise (and maybe watching more carefully what I eat) will pay off in some results next month.

Hi everyone, I really thought I was pretty 'tech-y'...until I tried to navigate all this...I finally found my posts, so at least I know where they are going.  I will be better about posting to it, now that I know they are actually being received.

Well, the "Birthday Week" for 3 of my 4 family members is almost over (with only one more celebratory dinner to enjoy), so I might be able to start seeing an easing up of all the rich foods I've been eating.

I notice a lot of people on Facebook are really getting in the swing of things - congrats to you all, I am certainly not there yet myself.  I have quite a bit of 'soul searching' to do to see if I am really ready to jump in to this - yes, I should have done that BEFORE agreeing, but I didn't realize how crazy/scheduled my time would be from mid-January through the beginning of April with my work...

Hi all, I must say I feel slightly isolated.  I can't quite tell if my blog entries are going wherever they should...Hopefully, when we all get together Monday at Aladdin's, I will know for sure.  Healthy eating hasn't gone too well for me either.  I tracked three days on VitaBot, increased my H2O and ended up having blood sugar issues.  Now we've been celebrating Birthday Week and eating out constantly...I swear, if I weigh in now I will be 5 pounds MORE...
